The Graduate Record Examination
or
GRE® is a
standardized test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate
schools in English speaking countries. It is created and administered
by the Educational Testing Service and is similar in format and
content to the SAT. Almost all schools offering the MS
program consider
GRE® scores as a very important basis of
admission as well as financial aid.
It is a multiple-choice test administered by the
Educational Testing Service (ETS) on behalf of
the GRE®
Board. The
GRE® is
administered only in English across the world.

GRE®
consists of 3 multiple-choice sections-Analytical
Writing& Writing Section, Quantitative Section and Verbal. Apart from
the traditional sections, the
GRE®
includes an essay section (mandatory only for certain universities) called the
Writing Assessment, which is to be taken on a separate day. |

Secunderabad is the twin city
of Hyderabad, India, and is separated by the man made lake,
Husain Sagar, from the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Secunderabad
was founded in the 18th century as a British cantonment, and to this date
has a large Army presence. Named after Sikandar Jah, the third Nizam of the Asaf
Jahi dynasty, Secunderabad had its own municipality and city government,
until recently when Secunderabad was merged with Hyderabad, the
district. In common parlance however, Secunderabad is seldom used these
days outside the twin cities. Instead Hyderabad is used normally.
Secunderabad is a major railway junction in the Wadi-Vijayawada
railway route. Secunderabad is very clean and neet. And people in
Secunderabad are very friendly. Secunderabad is a very good example
for cosmopolitan town in India. |
