The
SAT
Reasoning Test, formerly called the Scholastic Aptitude Test, the
Scholastic Assessment Test,
and the SAT,
is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. In the U.S.,
the SAT
is administered by the private Educational Testing Service (ETS) and is
developed, published, and scored by the College Board.
SAT IIt
is a three-hour, primarily multiple-choice
test that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities. Verbal questions
test your ability to understand and analyze what you read, recognize
relationships between parts of a sentence, establish relationships between pairs
of words. Math questions test your ability to solve problems involving
arithmetic, algebra and geometry.
The SAT I is a
three-hour test made up of seven sections:
1 Verbal Sections Question
Type: Analogies (19
questions), Sentence completion (19 questions) , Critical reading (40 questions)
Analysis of Issue. Analysis of Argument-Total questions: 78,Duration : 1 hour 15
minutes
2 Math Sections Question
Type: Five-choice
multiple-choice (35 questions) , Four-choice quantitative, comparison (15
questions) , Student-produced response (10 question ) Total questions: 78
,Duration : 1 hour 15 minutes
3 Equation Section Question
Type: Either verbal or math,
Total questions: 60,Duration : 30 minutes

Kurukshetra is the
name of a city in the present-day Indian state of
Haryana. The name literally means "Land of the Kurus" after the famous
Kuru vansha (clan), but is also sometimes referred to as Dharam Kshetra meaning
the "Land of Righteousness". It purports to be the site of the
Kurukshetra war, described in the Hindu epic the Mahabharata.
Kurukshetra district lies between in the North Eastern part of Haryana
State. The district headquarter is located at Kurukshetra town
and is about 160 Kilometers North of Delhi, 39 Kilometers North of
Karnal and 40 Kilometers South of Ambala. It is at a
distance of about 6 kilometer from Pipli an important road junction on the
National Highway No.1 popularly called the Grand Trunk Road. Kurukshetra
Railway Station, also called the Kurukshetra Junction, is
located on main Delhi-Ambala Railway line. The other important
towns of the district are Pehowa, Shahbad & Ladwa. The district consists of 419
villages. |
